What is Virtual Zone?
- Virtual Zone puts at your disposal the latest technology applied to Virtual Reality so that you can enjoy an experience within the reach of very few. Very few establishments in Europe offer this type of experience.
Without cables, without limitations, with the most "modern" glasses and with an offer of extraordinary experiences.
You will be able to walk through unimaginable scenarios, with a very high level of realism, interacting with the environment and making movements that will be reflected in real time, being totally absorbed by this virtual reality world that seems real.
What types of experiences can I book?
VirtualZone.es offers the possibility of playing various types of Virtual Reality experiences. Each VirtualZone center can offer one or more of these experiences, check before booking:
- Shooter / Action Experience: you can select one of the experiences we offer:
- Invasion: the best VR experience of the moment. Try to put an end to the alien invasion that your city has suffered, traveling through the most emblematic places of it. The longest-lasting experience, with the largest gaming space in Europe and that will not leave you indifferent. A shot of adrenaline. Up to 8 players. Approximately 45 minutes of play.
- Arizona Sunshine + Live Bait: Kill all the zombies that appear to you as you progress, passing small tests until you manage to escape the Zombie Apocalypse. Sharpen your aim using different weapons in the hordes of zombies. Up to 4 players. Approximately 45 minutes of gameplay.
- Only One Arena: Form two teams in this Player VS Player (PVP) experience where they play against each other. Suitable for all audiences. The team that has the most aim and knows how to coordinate better will win. pure fun. Up to 8 players. Approximately 35 minutes of play
- Action + Escape Room experiences: we offer you the most complete experience, the only one that combines the action of a Shooter with the dexterity and ingenuity required by a Escape Room, all in the largest game area:
- Dead Mansion: Infiltrate the facilities of Dr. Belmont, a scientist who is conducting experiments on humans, and recover the antidote. Work as a team to overcome the tests that you will find and sharpen your aim to finish off the doctor's "creatures". Up to 6 players. Approximately 45 minutes of play.
- Escape Room Experiences: choose between 4 games that will reward the intelligence of your team. Play and interact with your companions to overcome different puzzles in truly spectacular environments and "within the reach of very few".
- Time Travel Paradox: Travel to different eras using an innovative time machine. You will need all your ingenuity and that of your companions to be able to save the world. Up to 5 players. Approximate 45 minutes of play.
- Dragon Tower: Escape from the medieval fortress of the Dragon Tower, where you have been imprisoned by an alchemist. Your time is up. Up to 5 players. Approximately 40 minutes of play
- Space Station Tiberia: You are on the Space Platform Tiberia. Restore the power of the Station and stop with your companions the advance of a dangerous meteorite that is approaching the Earth. Up to 5 players. Approximately 40 minutes of gameplay.
- Depths of Osiris: Escape Room in which you will find yourself on an underwater platform and your objective will be to access the Osiris temple and pass several tests before your oxygen runs out. Up to 5 players. Approximately 40 minutes of play.
- Children's experiences: designed for the little ones, to play with friends or family. Recommended for ages 12+.
- Ghost Patrol: fun family adventure where you will be part of a ghost hunting patrol, advancing and killing the ghosts throughout a haunted mansion. Up to 4 players. From 12 years. Approximately 25 minutes of gameplay

What is a Virtual Escape Room experience?
If you have had the opportunity to participate in a conventional Escape Room, the concept is the same, but using the latest Virtual Reality technology, which allows you to be in scenarios that would be impossible in real life and at the same time allows you to have instruments or elements that would not be within your reach if it were not for the possibilities offered by virtual reality.
If you have never tried an Escape Room, the objective of this experience may vary depending on which one you choose, but basically it would be summed up in that the game tells you an objective to achieve and you and your team, making use of the objects that you find in the scenarios and of your ability to solve puzzles or pass tests, you have to achieve it in a limited time.
What is an Action / Shooter experience?
Making use of the latest technology in Virtual Reality, you will be able to enjoy with your friends (up to 8 players) a Shooter experience in which you will be armed with replica weapons and your objective will be to kill the zombies that will appear, all in a scenario apocalyptic with great realism. You will be fully communicated with the rest of your classmates, whom you will see at all times and with whom you will be able to collaborate to pass tests until you achieve the final objective. Extremely entertaining and with a level of total immersion.
In the Player Vs Player (PVP) experiences, you will enjoy a very dynamic and entertaining experience with light glasses of the latest generation in which you will form two groups and the objective is to kill the rival team, being able to move and hide in scenarios prepared for these duels .
How to book an experience?
You can book your experience at VirtualZone.es in 3 ways:
- Go to www.virtualzone.es and click on RESERVE. Select the day on the calendar and choose the time you want to do the experience. Next, select the number of players. Now you just have to decide which VR Experience you are going to try and press Confirm to proceed with the payment.
- You can visit the VirtualZone.es facilities and carry out the reservation process from here. We will be happy to help you in the reservation process.
- If you prefer, we also offer you the possibility of making your reservation by phone. Get in touch with us and our staff will kindly assist you.
How long does an experience last?
The Escape Room experiences will last approximately 35-45 minutes, although it will depend on your ability and dexterity when it comes to advancing and overcoming obstacles. Action / Shooter type experiences will last approximately 40-45 minutes of play ,.The Ghost Patrol children's/family experience will last approximately 30-35 minutes.
In addition, you will have a briefing where you will receive an explanation of the rules of use and recommendations and then you will be equipped with all the necessary material to carry out the VR experience. In total, your session will last approximately one hour.
How many can play at once?
In Madrid you can participate up to 16 people per session, since we have two open-plan rooms of 200 m2 and in Alicante up to 8 people.
Currently, the experiences are prepared to allow 8 players to play at the same time in the same room in the case of the Invasion experience, although work is being done to expand this number to 10 players who can enjoy simultaneously. For the Dead Mansion experience the maximum number of players is 6.
The Escape Rooms allow a maximum of 5 players to play for each of the two rooms.
The Ghost Patrol family experience allows a maximum of 4 players to play for each of the two rooms.
All the players in the same room would be participating in the same game, collaborating with their teammates, watching them and being able to speak through the integrated audio line.
If you are more than 8 players, up to 10 people can play in the same turn in different rooms, 5 enjoying one experience and 5 enjoying another.
Can you try more than one experience?
Indeed, at VirtualZone.es we offer you various Virtual Reality experiences. We currently offer several different experiences: Invasion, Dead Mansion, Arizona Sunshine + Live Bait, Dragon Tower, Space Station Tiberia, Depths of Osiris, Time Travel Paradox, Huxley and the Ghost Patrol family experience.
What happens if I'm late?
It is very important that you are at the Virtualzone.es offices at the reserved time, in fact, we recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before. Punctuality is required, since you have to receive a briefing with the operating rules, prepare all your equipment and carry out the experience and the time of the sessions is very tight. Therefore, if you are more than 10 minutes late from the reserved time, you will lose the reservation without the possibility of requesting its return.
How many rooms do we have?
VirtualZone.es offers you fully open rooms where you can enjoy our Virtual Reality experiences. The rooms have a game area of about 200 m2 without columns to offer the best VR experience in all of Spain. At VirtualZone Madrid we have two of these rooms and at VirtualZone Alicante we have one room.
Can I cancel my reservation?
If you wish to cancel your reservation, you must send an e-mail with the subject Cancel Reservation to info@virtualzone.es at least 48 hours before the date of your reservation, indicating the name and email you used to make the reservation and its date and time. The VirtualZone team will take steps so that you can have your refund in the shortest possible time. If you try to cancel or modify the reservation less than two days in advance, unfortunately it will not be possible. VirtualZone cannot offer you a refund of the amount of your reservation in this case. Once the game session has started, no refunds will be made.
What happens if I don't go to my appointment?
If after ten minutes from the time of your reservation, you are not at the VirtualZone.es facilities, you will not be able to carry out the experience and you will not be entitled to a refund of the amount of your reservation. Of course, the rest of the participants in your group who are there at the agreed time will be able to enjoy the reserved experience.
Is it played with controllers or with weapons?
- The “Invasion Alicante” and “Arizona Sunshine” experiences are played with VR weapons, which are replicas of real weapons without any ammunition. Choose the weapon that you like the most. You will have the possibility of facing this challenge with a pistol in each hand or with a war rifle.
- The rest of the experiences are carried out with two controls or HTC Vive controllers.
Can minors play?
VirtualZone offers these experiences for adults and for minors from the age of 12 with the express consent of their father, mother or legal guardian.
In any case, it is important that the rules of use are respected and that virtual reality is not used excessively at an early age.
How can I pay
If you make the reservation through the website virtualzone.es you can proceed to pay in three ways:

What clothes should I wear?
This is an active experience and although you do not need any specific equipment, we ask that you come to VirtualZone.es with comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear (no heels). We also recommend not wearing a face mask as it can stain the lenses and negatively impact the experience.
You can carry out the experience with eyeglasses, although if you have the possibility of using contact lenses, do so since you will find yourself even more comfortable.
Can I wear glasses?
Yes, the latest generation VR glasses that we use at VirtualZone.es have plenty of space to be able to use it with glasses on, although we recommend using it with contact lenses or testing if your vision can be adapted without the need for glasses for greater comfort. The HTC Vive PRO has a system for configuring the focus on each eye and the separation between the two eyes, for an optimal visual experience.
Who can play? It is safe?
VirtualZone offers these experiences for adults and for minors from the age of 12 with the express consent of their father, mother or legal guardian. We recommend a minimum height of 1.40 meters to be able to play.
The person who wants to do the experience must be able to move freely without assistance using their whole body.
People with vision in only one eye can play.
For safety reasons the experience cannot take place if:
- You are or appear to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages or narcotic substances. In this case, a refund or credit cannot be requested.
- You have epilepsy to any degree or some type of brain dysfunction or neurological disorder.
- If you have ever suffered losses of knowledge.
- You suffer from deafness or severe hearing loss or if you are blind.
- You use a wheelchair.
- You are a Highly Sensitive Person, especially frightened or who suffers fearful situations before.
- You suffer from heart ailments.
- You are pregnant.
VirtualZone.es reserves the right admission.
In any case, it will be the staff of VirtualZone.es who will ultimately and unilaterally decide whether or not a player is eligible to access the game area.
Regarding the safety of the VR experience in VirtualZone.es, in general terms we can classify it as a safe activity, but that does not exempt the possibility of an accident, either due to the effect that the use of that device may have type of technology in the person as well as the possibility of having an accident caused by a bad step or a bad movement due to the high level of realism that is achieved in this type of experience.
It is For this reason, we insist that the user must always keep in mind that the scenes and images that they view are always virtual and not real, so the user must not try to lean on objects they see, nor must they make sudden gestures and must be aware that there aren't really any steps or holes or the like, though that's what you see. Ignoring these recommendations could cause a fall or accident.
In any case, VirtualZone has prepared its facilities to minimize damage in the event of an accident, with padded walls and carpeted floors.
Can it cause dizziness?
Technology has advanced and overcome the problems that previous generations of VR had, so it is highly unlikely that you will feel dizzy or nauseated. However, if you experience them, you must stop your game session for a few minutes and notify the staff. To do this, raise your glasses, ask for help and wait without moving to be assisted by VirtualZone.es staff.
Will they explain to me how the equipment works and how I can move and perform actions?
Within the time of each game session a detailed explanation of an estimated duration of 10 to 15 minutes is included. Here you will receive all the necessary instructions to carry out your experience (how to move, how to perform actions, how to shoot...) and you will be informed of the use you must make of the virtual reality equipment.
It will be the VirtualZone.es team that will help you to fit all the necessary material to carry out the experience.
Can I have a souvenir of my experience?
The experiences are monitored by the VirtualZone.es team to control at all times that the experience is being carried out correctly and to be able to help you if necessary.
When the experience ends, and whenever possible, you will receive a small report as a reminder with images and videos of your team's experience, which we will send you by message to your mobile phone and/or by email.
Are measures taken against COVID?
At VirtualZone we strive to guarantee the safety of our clients and our workers.
As a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic, the cleaning and disinfection processes have been reinforced to keep our facilities and equipment disinfected and safe, prepared so that you can enjoy your experience to the fullest.
We put at your disposal hydroalcoholic gel, soap and we will even provide you with masks so that you can carry out the experience in the safest way possible.
All the material that you use in the Virtual Reality experience will be cleaned and disinfected after each use. Our staff will always be duly protected and will take extreme measures when cleaning the equipment.
All facilities are regularly disinfected and cleaned.
What is the name of the VR game?
The star game to date is called Invasion (Alicante and Madrid, respectively).
It is the longest running virtual reality experience in Europe. It consists of 45 minutes of real play, and up to 16 people can play simultaneously (in Madrid).
Our new innovative commitment to the market for virtual reality experiences is Dead Mansion. This is the first virtual escape room that includes a scooter.
What are virtual games called?
The virtual games that we have developed in Virtual Zone are called Invasion and Dead Mansion. Invasion has been designed in two versions: Alicante and Madrid. In both cases, the game takes place in locations in each city, easily recognizable by the player, such as Plaza de los Luceros in Alicante, or Cibeles in Madrid.
For its part, Dead Mansion has only one version, and it can be played in all our locations.
