Cookie Policy
Last updated:
1. What are cookies and why do we use them?
A cookie is a file downloaded onto a user’s device when accessing certain web pages, which allows information about the browsing carried out from that device to be stored and retrieved.
Virtual Zone Nexus, S.L. (hereinafter, “VZ”) uses cookies on www.virtualzonevr.com to ensure the website works correctly, to analyze its use, and, where applicable, to personalize the user experience.
Important clarification regarding previous versions of this policy: some cookies, particularly analytics cookies, may constitute the processing of personal data (for example, through device or browser identifiers and IP addresses), so it is not accurate to state that their use guarantees the user’s absolute anonymity. This policy supersedes any such statement contained in earlier versions.
Users can configure their browser to block or delete cookies. If they do so, they can continue browsing the website, although some personalization features may not be available.
2. What types of cookies do we use?
By duration:
- Session cookies: deleted when the browser is closed.
- Persistent cookies: remain stored for a set period or until manually deleted.
By purpose:
- Technical or necessary cookies: essential for the website to function (for example, to maintain the booking session). They do not require user consent, in accordance with Art. 22.1 LSSI.
- Preference or personalization cookies: allow user choices to be remembered (language, display settings) to improve the experience. They require prior consent.
- Analytics cookies: allow measurement and analysis of user browsing on the website for statistical purposes. They involve processing data such as IP addresses or device identifiers, and require the user’s prior consent.
- Advertising or behavioral advertising cookies: allow advertising space to be managed and, where applicable, a profile of the user’s interests to be built. They require the user’s prior, express consent.

4. How do we manage your consent?
Art. 22.1 LSSI requires the user’s prior, free, specific, and informed consent before installing cookies that are not strictly necessary. This consent can be given and withdrawn with equal ease.
The first time a user accesses the website, a cookie settings panel is displayed that allows the user to: accept all cookies; reject all non-essential cookies, with the same ease with which they can be accepted; and configure their consent granularly by category (analytics, personalization, advertising).
Technical or necessary cookies are always installed. Non-essential cookies are only installed after obtaining the user’s consent, and are not installed if the user rejects them.
Users can change or withdraw their consent at any time via the settings link permanently available on the website.
5. How to configure or disable cookies in your browser?
In addition to the website’s own settings panel, users can configure, block, or delete cookies directly from their browser:
Note: the link to Internet Explorer, a browser discontinued by Microsoft that was present in the previous version of this policy, has been removed from this section.
6. Updates to this policy
VZ may modify this Cookie Policy to adapt it to legislative or technical developments, or to changes in the cookies used. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
For more information on how we process your personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.
